Name: Jason Kline
Nickname: Mitten

Birthdate: April 12
Occupation: Mathematician
Hobbies: Rocky, hiking, skiing, watching sports (especially the Steelers, Penguins, and Penn State football), exercising, reading, doing the New York Times crossword puzzle, drinking, and really bad karaoke (definitely while also engaging in the previously listed hobby)
Favourite Role: Frank, although I have a lot of great memories as Brad
Previous Casts: I started with the Castle Transylvanians in 2001 in Maryland. Afterwards, I was with Home of Happiness in New Jersey from 2002 to 2003 while I was working in Princeton. When I returned to Maryland, I was with Sincerely Lusting Castle Transylvanians/Transylvanian Concubines in Virginia from 2003-2009 (except for a two-year hiatus that I’d rather just forget). My biggest performances were at the Brookhaven Ampitheater in Long Island this decade as Brad (the largest of which set what at the time was a world record of 4,600 in attendance in 2004). I’ve also performed at a number of Rocky Cons.
Relationship Status: Single–so don’t be a stranger, ladies
When Did You Join CEI?: June 2009
Why Did You Join CEI?: I finally moved to Colorado from the East Coast, and didn’t want to miss out on all the Rocky fun.
Favourite Callback Line?: There are too many good lines to pick just one. One that I do like that was made just for me was by Neil from Transylvanian Concubines. His wife apparently thinks I’m hot, so when I’m strutting my stuff during Rocky’s floorshow number, he always throws in “That’s why my wife likes you, Jason.” Not that funny to anybody else, but I like it.
About: I live on Capitol Hill in Denver. After wanting to get Frank’s Boss tattoo for many years, I finally did so in August 2009 after winning an award for my Dawn of the Dead Hare Krishna costume I wore to the Zombie Social sponsored by Body Graffix Tattoo and Piercing. As of February 2010, I’ve climbed 27 of Colorado’s Fourteeners and hope to finish the rest of the Fourteeners in the contiguous 48 states over the next few years.
