Finally, though the shows are only occurring monthly at the moment, CEI got round to doing a themenight. And the obvious was everyone’s favourite. So that went reasonably well.

Discovering last month that my new phone, cool though it is, kinda sucks at getting video, I went back to the Mino. That also kinda sucks in minimal lighting, but the quality’s a bit better. Also, I killed my computer and kicked up to 64bit Windoze7 a couple days ago; I’m reinstalling stuff, but I haven’t got the videocompression software into the system yet. So I’m cheating and just throwing this up to YouTube.com. Presuming I’m not violating their rules. Either way, if you’re looking at this on an iPhone, you may need to report yourself to Steve Jobs; no porn allowed, whatever that might constitute.

I dragged Hunter along [she's the one in the first video, telling me to get my own coffee; also, she's fired] to get a few shots with my DigiCam. Not that she stopped at a few. So those should be here on the site soonish; first, I have to finish uploading this stuff to YouTube.com since, of all the USB ports I coulda used, I jammed the Mino into the one next to the MemoryStick reader, preventing me from using both at the same time. It’ll all get done eventually.

Strangely enough, there are way more people connected to us through facebook.com than through twitter.com. Partly because facebook.com’s more popular [than any other site in the history of ever]; partly because…who knows. So. Seriously. Because how cool would it be to get a measurable number of fans and followers for this thing. Maybe we can get Utah to declare a civil war against us. Like, more officially.
